Armenian language to be taught at Moscow State Institute of International Relations

A cooperation agreement was signed between the Armenian Embassy in Russia and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the Russian Foreign Ministry on December 21.

The agreement was signed by Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toghanyan and MGIMO Vice-Rector for Science and Research Andrey Baykov, the embassy reported on Thursday.

The agreement envisages the launch of a process of teaching the Armenian language at the Russian university, creation of a platform for Armenian studies, as well as promotion of cooperation between Armenia’s higher educational institutions and MGIMO.
