Former MP Naira Karapetyan claims the Armenian authorities are preparing the ground for the installation of a new female defense minister.

She says the new minister will likely be Anna Hakobyan, the spouse of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“There are many subtexts and “nuances” confirming my claims, including the “voluntary military conscription” for women, Anna’s mysterious meeting with the Czech defense minister in the country, her outfit when she travelled to the Czech Republic with her husband in official clothes, to name a few,” Karapetyan wrote on Wednesday.

She also cited a new TV series titled “Madam Minister” to stream on Armenia TV from 3 to 8 July.
