Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Armenian prime minister’s office reported.
“The Prime Minister congratulated the President on the occasion of Kurban Bayram, and the President congratulated the Prime Minister on the coming Vardavar – the Feast of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ,” it said in a statement.
The two leaders also discussed the normalization of relations between their countries.
“In this context, the implementation process of the agreement on the opening of the land border for the holders of diplomatic passports and citizens of third countries was discussed,” reads the statement.
