Papikyan invites Indian defense minister to Armenia

Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan on Tuesday met with his Indian counterpart Shri Rajnath Singh on the sidelines of his working visit to India, the Defense Ministry reported.

The ministers expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation, discussed the possibilities of expanding the partnership as well as a number of issues related to bilateral military and military-technical cooperation.

The Armenian defense chief briefed his counterpart on the situation following the latest Azerbaijani aggression, thanking India for its clear stance expressed on international platforms.

At the end of the meeting, Papikyan invited Rajnath Singh to pay an official visit to Armenia.
