CSTO has already proved its effectiveness, Kremlin says

The CSTO has already proved its effectiveness and has the potential for development, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday, responding to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s recent criticism of the Moscow-led security bloc.

The CSTO has already proved its effectiveness and has the potential for development, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday, responding to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s recent criticism of the Moscow-led security bloc.

“In general, the CSTO is an organization that enjoys credibility among its member states,” RIA Novosti quoted Peskov as telling reporters.

“It’s an organization that has proven effective in various situations and, we believe, has serious potential for further development,” the spokesman said.
