In this photo shared by Azerbaijani users on Facebook, is a unit of special detachment forces departing from Nakhchivan to "mainland" Azerbaijan on an Airbus civilian passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines, Razm.Info reported, also posting several other respective photos.

"The person in the photo is Colonel Tehran Mensimov. He coordinates the special detachment forces in Nakhchivan. Moreover, during the Turkish-Azerbaijani military exercise in Nakhchivan in the summer of 2020, he had coordinated the work of the headquarters from the Azerbaijani side.

Let us record the fact that Azerbaijan uses its civilian aircrafts for military purposes.

Earlier it was reported that civilian aircrafts are being used to also transport mercenaries and terrorists from Syria to Azerbaijan.

This fact should be a matter of serious concern to foreign airlines, too. It may be more sensible if, for security reasons, they temporarily refuse flights through the territory of Azerbaijan," Razm.Info added.
